Connect your Agile CRM account: contacts you tag, or whose deal reaches a milestone you pick, are
called by SolarDialer's AI agent within a minute or two, interested leads are transferred live to your closer, and
every call goes on the contact as a note with its summary, transcript and a link to the recording.
You need a SolarDialer account and an Agile CRM user's email and REST API key.
Call contacts by tag or deal milestone
Choose a tag, a deal track's milestone (or "any new contact") and a campaign: each contact given the tag, or
on a deal that reaches the milestone, from then on joins the campaign within a minute or two, called on its
schedule, always within the lead's legal calling hours.
Every call on the contact
Each call adds a note to the contact with its outcome, length, AI summary, answers, transcript and a link to
the recording.
Interested leads get a deal
Pick a track and milestone and each interested lead gets a deal there (moved to your transfer milestone when
they are put through to your closer). Callbacks become call tasks, due when the lead asked.
Tags for your campaigns
SD Called, SD Interested, SD Transferred, SD Callback and SD Do Not Call
tag the contact, so your Agile CRM campaigns and filters take it from there; SD Outcome,
SD Last Call and SD Recording are set as custom fields.
Set up in 3 steps
Copy your API keyIn Agile CRM, open Admin Settings → Developers & API and copy the
REST API key. Note your Agile CRM address too, like yourcompany.agilecrm.com.
ConnectSign in to SolarDialer, open Account → Integrations, enter the address, the email
you sign in to Agile CRM with and the key under Agile CRM and click Connect Agile CRM.
Choose who is calledOn the same page, add a rule: a tag, a deal milestone (or any new contact)
and the campaign those contacts join. Optionally pick the milestone interested leads' deals go to.
To see SD Outcome, SD Last Call, SD Recording, SD Callback and SD Do Not Call on the contact
page, add text custom fields with those names for contacts (Admin Settings → Custom Fields).
What SolarDialer reads and writes in Agile CRM
Agile CRM data
What SolarDialer does with it
Contacts
Reads the contacts made or changed since its last look (every minute, while you have
rules), and the name, phone, email and address of those a rule picks, to call them. Finds (by phone or email)
or creates the contact for a lead whose call reached someone, and adds its tags, custom fields and a note for
each call.
Deals
Reads the deals made or changed since its last look (for milestone rules) and your
tracks and milestones for the pickers; creates a deal for an interested lead, or moves its open one on a
transfer.
Tasks
Adds a call task for each callback booked, for the contact's owner.
People are called only within each state's calling hours, never when they are on your
do-not-call list or asked not to be called, and at most the attempts your campaign allows. Your Agile CRM data
is used only to place and report your calls; see our privacy policy and
terms.
Disconnecting
Click Disconnect Agile CRM on Account → Integrations. The key is forgotten at once;
to be sure it can't be used again, regenerate it in Agile CRM (Admin Settings → Developers & API), which
also stops other apps using it. Results stop going to Agile CRM; the leads and calls already in SolarDialer stay in
your account until you delete them, and nothing is removed from Agile CRM. To have your SolarDialer data deleted,
email info@solardialer.net.
Full setup guide
Everything you need to set it up and keep it running. Stuck? Email info@solardialer.net.
An Agile CRM account, at an address like yourcompany.agilecrm.com.
The email an Agile CRM user signs in with, and that user's REST API key (Admin Settings, Developers & API: the key for REST clients).
A SolarDialer account with at least one campaign that isn't finished. Leads are called once your account is approved and the campaign is running.
To see SolarDialer's custom fields on the contact page: text custom fields for contacts named SD Outcome, SD Last Call, SD Recording, SD Callback and SD Do Not Call (Admin Settings, Custom Fields). Tags, notes, deals and tasks need nothing set up.
Step by step
Copy your API keyIn Agile CRM, open Admin Settings, then Developers & API, and copy the REST API key. Note your Agile CRM address from the browser too, like yourcompany.agilecrm.com.
Open Integrations in SolarDialerSign in on solardialer.net and open Account, then Integrations. Under Connect, find the Agile CRM card and click Connect Agile CRM.
ConnectEnter the address under Agile CRM address (yourcompany, the full address or any page address from Agile CRM all work), the email you sign in to Agile CRM with, paste the key under REST API key and click Connect. The page says "Agile CRM connected (yourcompany.agilecrm.com)" and the account appears under Your CRM with a Connected badge.
Add a rule: who is calledUnder Your CRM, in Contacts to call, pick who is called: Any new contact, Contacts given the tag below (and type the tag as it is in Agile CRM), or a deal milestone (shown as Deal reaches Track: Milestone). Pick the Campaign and click Add rule. From then on, matching contacts join that campaign within a minute or two.
Choose where interested leads go (optional)In Interested leads go to (a deal at this milestone), pick a track's milestone. Optionally pick another milestone of the same track in Transferred leads go to, for leads put through to your closer. Click Save.
Test itAdd a test contact in Agile CRM with your own phone number and the tag your rule uses. Within a minute or two it is a lead in your campaign in SolarDialer. After the call, the contact shows the note and the SD tags.
Settings, explained
Contacts given the tag
A rule picks contacts given that tag after the rule was added, or made with it. Agile CRM keeps the time each tag was added, so a contact that had the tag before is not picked. Tags are matched whatever their case.
Deal reaches a milestone
A rule picks the contacts (up to five) of a deal at that track and milestone that is made, or changed, after the rule was added. Agile CRM keeps no time of a milestone change, so a deal already at the milestone is picked only when it is next changed.
Any new contact
Every contact made in Agile CRM after the rule was added joins the campaign. Companies are never called.
Campaign
The SolarDialer campaign the rule's contacts join. Only campaigns that aren't finished are listed. They are called on the campaign's schedule, within each lead's legal calling hours.
Rules
Up to 20, one per tag or milestone. Each contact joins a campaign once: one already called through SolarDialer, or made by SolarDialer, is never added again. Remove a rule with its Remove button.
Interested leads go to (a deal at this milestone)
An interested lead gets a deal at that milestone, named after the lead, unless it already has an open deal in that track: a lead who said yes to your closer, whether or not the transfer connected, or one booked a callback with the closer instead. No deal leaves deals alone.
Transferred leads go to (optional)
A different milestone of the same track for leads whose transfer to your closer connected: their open deal in the track moves there, or a new one is made there.
What it reads and writes
Read: contacts and deals
Every minute, while you have rules, the contacts (and, for milestone rules, the deals) made or changed since the last look. For a contact a rule picks: first and last name, phone (mobile first), email, and the address, city, state, ZIP and country of its address.
Read: settings
Your deal tracks and their milestones, for the pickers and to tell an open deal from a won or lost one.
Written: a note for each call
Each call adds a note "SolarDialer call: <outcome>" to the contact, holding the outcome, length, campaign, summary, answers, transcript, a link to the recording and a link to the call in SolarDialer.
Written: tags
SD Called on every call, SD Transferred on a transfer, SD Interested, SD Callback and SD Do Not Call. Agile CRM makes each tag the first time it is used.
Written: custom fields
SD Outcome, SD Last Call (date and time in UTC) and SD Recording (a link) on every call; SD Callback (when) and SD Do Not Call (Yes), as custom properties of the contact. Add text custom fields with these names to be sure they show on the contact page.
Written: deals and tasks
An interested lead's deal at the milestone you picked (moved on a transfer). A callback adds a call task "Callback (SolarDialer)", due when the lead asked, for the contact's owner, saying who calls back.
Written: contacts
A contact is found by phone, then by email, or made, only for a call that reached someone, an interested lead or a callback. A call nobody answered only updates a contact that already exists. A lead without a first name is made with its last name, or "Unknown", as Agile CRM requires a first name.
Troubleshooting
"Agile CRM wasn't connected: Enter your Agile CRM address, like yourcompany.agilecrm.com."
The address isn't an Agile CRM one. Copy it from your browser while signed in to Agile CRM.
"Agile CRM didn't accept that email and API key for that address."
The email must be the one the key's user signs in with, and the key the REST API key (not the JavaScript one). Copy it again from Admin Settings, Developers & API.
"That isn't an Agile CRM address."
Agile CRM answered that the address doesn't exist. Copy it from the browser while signed in.
"That Agile CRM account is connected to another SolarDialer account."
An Agile CRM account can be linked to one SolarDialer account at a time. Disconnect it there first.
"Type the tag as it is in Agile CRM"
Agile CRM tags start with a letter and hold only letters, digits, spaces and underscores. Type it without quotes or other signs.
The connection shows Disconnected: "Agile CRM refused the API key"
The key was regenerated, or its user was removed in Agile CRM. Copy the current key and connect again from the Agile CRM card.
A tagged contact wasn't called
Check that the tag was added after the rule was (remove and add it again to pick the contact up), that the tag is spelled as in the rule, that the contact has a phone number, that it wasn't already called through SolarDialer, and that its phone isn't already a lead in your account (a number belongs to one lead). Then check that the campaign is running.
A deal's contacts weren't called
Check that the deal is at the rule's track and milestone, that it was made or changed after the rule was added (edit it to pick it up), and that its contacts have phone numbers.
"Your Agile CRM deal tracks couldn't be read just now; reload to add a rule."
Agile CRM didn't answer in time. Reload the page.
"That milestone wasn't found in Agile CRM. Reload and pick again."
The track or milestone was changed or deleted in Agile CRM after the page loaded. Reload and pick again.
The SD fields don't show on contacts
Add text custom fields for contacts named SD Outcome, SD Last Call, SD Recording, SD Callback and SD Do Not Call (Admin Settings, Custom Fields), spelled exactly so; later calls fill them. Tags and notes show without them.
"Last problem sending results: Agile CRM's contact limit for your plan is reached"
Your Agile CRM plan holds no more contacts, so none could be made for that lead. Free room or upgrade; that result is skipped and the next ones go through.
"Last problem sending results" with "(trying again shortly)"
Agile CRM was busy or didn't answer. SolarDialer waits and tries again, longer each time; nothing is lost.
FAQ
Why an API key and not a sign-in button?
Agile CRM offers no sign-in for outside apps, so SolarDialer connects with a user's email and REST API key, as Zapier's Agile CRM app does. The key is stored encrypted and only ever sent to your Agile CRM address.
Do I need to set up a webhook in Agile CRM?
No. SolarDialer looks for new and changed contacts every minute, so your Agile CRM webhook stays free for your other apps.
How fast is a new contact called?
SolarDialer looks at your contacts every minute, and a picked contact joins the campaign straight away. The campaign calls it on its schedule, within the lead's calling hours.
Do I get results for calls made before I connected?
No. A new connection gets the results of calls from then on.
What if I delete a contact in Agile CRM?
The next result for that lead finds the contact again by phone or email, or makes a new one.
Does removing the tag or deleting the rule stop calls?
No. A contact that joined a campaign stays a lead there. A rule removed only stops new contacts joining.
Will people be called outside calling hours or after asking not to be called?
No. People are called only within their state's calling hours, never when they are on your do-not-call list or asked not to be called, and at most the attempts your campaign allows. A do-not-call request tags the contact SD Do Not Call.
Can I connect two Agile CRM accounts?
One per SolarDialer account: the Connect form is hidden while one is connected.
What does it cost?
The connection is free. Calls are billed by the minute from your SolarDialer balance, with $2 of free calls every month.
Disconnect
Click Disconnect Agile CRM under Your CRM on Account, Integrations. The key is forgotten at once and results stop going to Agile CRM.
Regenerate the key in Agile CRM too (Admin Settings, Developers & API) if no other app uses it.
Your leads and calls stay in SolarDialer, and nothing is removed from Agile CRM. To have your SolarDialer data deleted, email info@solardialer.net.
Pay only when we're talking to someone
22¢ a minute while on a call, or 14¢ with your own phone line. Calls nobody answers
are free, and the first $2 of calls every month are on us. The Agile CRM connection itself costs nothing.
