SolarDialer (solardialer.net) is run by Solar House World LLC, 7901 4th St N, Ste 300, St. Petersburg, FL 33702 ("we"). This page says what we collect, why, and who sees it.
What we collect
- Account holders: name, email, company, phone, and a hashed password.
- Homeowners we call or text: the details a solar company gave us to follow up on their request (name, phone, address, state), and what happens on our calls and texts with them: recordings, transcripts, the messages sent and received, and any request not to be contacted.
- Site use: the technical records any website keeps (IP address, browser, pages visited).
Why
To make the calls and texts a solar company asks us to make for it, to connect interested homeowners with that company, to keep the do-not-call list, and to run and secure the service.
Who we share it with
- The solar company on whose behalf we called or texted you.
- The providers that carry the service (telephone and text carriers, voice and hosting providers), only to deliver it.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
- A CRM or other service a solar company has connected to its account, as "Integrations" says.
We do not sell personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party.
Integrations
A solar company may connect its SolarDialer account to another service it uses, such as a CRM (GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Pipedrive or Zoho CRM) or Zapier. When it does:
- We receive from that service the contacts the company chose to have called: name, phone numbers, email, address, state, and the service's own id for the contact.
- After each call, we send back to that service what happened: when, how long, the outcome, a short summary, a tag or stage, any callback time, any request not to be contacted, and a link to the recording and transcript on SolarDialer.
- We keep the access the company granted (tokens, stored encrypted) and the links between that service's contacts and the company's leads, so results go to the right contact.
- What happens to data in that service is up to the company and that service's own privacy policy.
The company can disconnect at any time. We then stop syncing and delete the tokens and the contact links.
Google user data
You can log in with Google, and you can connect your Google Calendar so that your campaigns book appointments into it. This is what we do with the data Google gives us.
Log in or sign up with Google. Google tells us your Google account's email address, whether Google has verified it, and your name. We use them only to log you in, or to create your account the first time, with that email and name. We keep nothing else from Google for logging in.
Google Calendar (only if you connect it, on Account → Integrations). We ask Google for two permissions, the least that lets us book an appointment:
- When you are busy (free/busy). During a call, when a campaign of yours sets an appointment, we ask Google which times on your main calendar are taken, to offer the person on the call only times when you are free. We see only busy and free times, not what your events are.
- Creating events on calendars you own. When the person picks a time, we add one event to your main calendar: "Call" or "Home visit" with their name, their phone, the address for a visit, a short note of what it's about, and a link to the call on SolarDialer.
We do not read the content of your events, your other calendars, your contacts or your email, and we do not change or delete events we didn't create.
What we store. The access Google gives us (a refresh token, kept encrypted) and your Google email, to show which calendar is connected. Free and busy times are used for the call and not kept.
Who it is shared with. No one but you. The free times offered on a call go to the voice and hosting providers that carry that call, only to deliver it. We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, do not let people read it except with your permission, for security, or where the law requires, and do not use it to develop or train AI or machine-learning models.
Disconnecting and deleting. Press Disconnect on Account → Integrations: we revoke our access at Google and delete the token at once. You can also remove SolarDialer at myaccount.google.com/permissions; the token then stops working and we delete it when you disconnect or ask (see "Deleting your data"). Events we already added stay in your calendar; delete them there.
SolarDialer's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Texts
We text only people who text our numbers first, and only to answer them. Reply STOP to any of our texts to stop them; HELP for help. See the text message terms.
Not being contacted
Ask on any call, reply STOP to any text, or write to us below: your number goes on our do-not-call list and is not called or texted again.
How long we keep it
As long as the solar company's account is open and the law requires; do-not-call requests are kept for good, so they keep working. See "Deleting your data" below.
Deleting your data
How to ask. Write to info@solardialer.net from your account's email address if you have an account, or, if we called or texted you, with the phone number we used. We may ask you to confirm that the account or number is yours. If we called you for a solar company, we will also tell that company about your request.
What we delete.
- For an account: the account details, its leads and lists, call recordings, transcripts and messages, and the tokens of any connected CRM, calendar or other service.
- For a person we called or texted: your details, and the recordings, transcripts and messages of our calls and texts with you, in every account that holds them.
What we keep, and why.
- Your phone number on our do-not-call list, with the date and the reason, so that no account ever calls or texts it again. Deleting it would let it be called.
- Billing records (charges and payments), for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- What we need for a complaint, dispute or legal claim, or that the law requires us to keep, for as long as that lasts.
When. Within 30 days of your request, including at the providers that store recordings for us. Copies in our backups are overwritten within a further 30 days. We will email you when it is done.
Disconnecting a CRM. When a company disconnects a CRM or other service, in SolarDialer or by removing our app there, we delete its access tokens and the links between its contacts and the company's leads at once. Leads already brought in stay in the company's account until the company, or a request like the one above, deletes them. What we already wrote into the CRM stays there; delete it in the CRM.
