Reactivate your old smart home leads
The people who asked about smart home and never went ahead are worth a call. The agent calls them, has the first conversation, and puts the interested ones through to your closer, live.
What a smart home call sounds like
A sample call, shortened, using the smart home template's own lines.
LeadHello?
AgentHi, may I speak with Dana?
LeadSpeaking.
AgentDana, you'd asked about making your home a smart home. This is Ava with Smart Home USA. Are you still looking for help with that?
LeadWe're just looking at ideas for now.
AgentThat's fine. The specialist can go over the options with you, no obligation. Want me to get them on?
LeadSure.
AgentWhat would you most like to control from your phone?
Dana answers. The answer is kept for your closer.
AgentThanks. Let me see if I can get someone on.
Your closer hears: "I have Dana on the line for a smart home consultation. Dana lives in Texas." with any answers, then "Recorded line." Then Dana joins the call.
What the agent asks
- First, whether they're still interested: "You'd asked about making your home a smart home. Are you still looking for help with that?"
- If the answer is no, one more chance, then it lets them go: "No problem. Is that because you already have your smart home taken care of, or just not a good time? I can have someone call when it suits you."
- Before bringing in your closer, the template's qualifying questions:
- "Do you own the home?"
- "What would you most like to control from your phone?"
The answers go to your closer in the briefing, and to your CRM if you connect one. Change, add or remove questions for each campaign; they never block a transfer.
How it answers common objections
- "We're just looking at ideas for now""That's fine. The specialist can go over the options with you, no obligation. Want me to get them on?"
- "It's too expensive, or I can't afford it""Understood. The specialist can go over the options and what it would look like for you. Want me to get them on?"
- "A question about my house or the work itself""That's exactly what the specialist looks at with you. Let me see if I can get someone on."
The agent never quotes a price or a saving and never tells anyone they qualify: questions like those go to your closer. Edit any answer, or add your own.
Who it hands off to
When the lead says yes, the agent says it will bring in "my smart home specialist" and rings your closer's number. Your closer hears a short briefing, then the lead joins the call. If your closer can't pick up, a callback is set. The agent calls as Ava with Smart Home USA unless you change the name, the company or the voice.
