SolarDialer

SolarDialer for monday.com

Connect your monday.com account: items that reach a status you pick are called by SolarDialer's AI agent within minutes, interested leads are transferred live to your closer, and every call is added to the item with its summary, transcript and recording.

You need a SolarDialer account, and a monday.com user who can edit the boards you connect.

Call items by status

Choose a board and a status label (or "any new item") and a campaign: each item that reaches that status, or is made with it, joins the campaign, called on its schedule, always within the lead's legal calling hours.

Every call on the item

Each call is added to the item as an update, with the AI summary, answers, transcript and a link to play the recording.

Interested leads move on

Pick a status label and each interested lead's item moves there, or to your transfer label when they are put through to your closer. Callbacks are noted on the item, with when the lead asked.

Columns for your automations

SD Outcome, SD Last Call, SD Recording, SD Interested, SD Callback and SD Do Not Call are set on the item, so your views, filters and automations can act on them.

Set up in 3 steps

  1. ConnectSign in to SolarDialer, open Account → Integrations and click Connect monday.com. Pick the account and allow access.
  2. Choose who is calledOn the same page, add a rule: a board's status label (or any new item on a board) and the campaign those items join. Add as many rules as you like. The item's name, phone, email and location columns make the lead.
  3. Choose where interested leads goPick the status label interested leads' items move to, and optionally one for transferred ones. Leave it empty to leave the status as it is.

What SolarDialer reads and writes in monday.com

monday.com dataWhat SolarDialer does with it
Your profile and accountReads your account's name and id, to link it to your SolarDialer account.
Boards and columnsReads your boards and their status columns for the pickers on your Integrations page. Creates the six SolarDialer text columns on a board the first time a result goes there.
ItemsReads the item a rule picks (its name, phone, email and location), to call it. Sets the SolarDialer columns on it, and moves its status for an interested lead if you picked a label. For leads that didn't come from monday.com, finds (by phone or email) or creates an item on the board you picked, only for a call that reached someone.
UpdatesAdds an update to the item for each call and each callback booked.
WebhooksCreates webhooks on the boards you have rules for (new items, status changes), and deletes them when you remove the rules or disconnect.

People are called only within each state's calling hours, never when they are on your do-not-call list or asked not to be called, and at most the attempts your campaign allows. Your monday.com data is used only to place and report your calls; see our privacy policy and terms.

Disconnecting

Click Disconnect monday.com on Account → Integrations, or uninstall SolarDialer in monday.com (Administration → Apps). Results stop going to monday.com at once; the leads and calls already in SolarDialer stay in your account until you delete them, and nothing is removed from monday.com. To have your SolarDialer data deleted, email info@solardialer.net.

Full setup guide

Everything you need to set it up and keep it running. Stuck? Email info@solardialer.net.

Before you start

  • A SolarDialer account with at least one campaign that isn't finished: a rule sends items to a campaign, and the rule form only shows once you have one.
  • A monday.com user who can edit the boards you connect: SolarDialer adds columns, updates and items there.
  • A board whose items are people: the item's name is the person's name, and it has a Phone column (the Phone column type, not a text column). An Email column and a Location column are read too.
  • A Status column on the board, with named labels, to call items by status or to move interested leads.

Step by step

  1. Start connectingSign in to SolarDialer, open Account → Integrations and click Connect monday.com under Connect (or click Connect monday.com on solardialer.net/monday).
  2. Allow access in monday.commonday.com asks you to allow SolarDialer access to your account. You come back to Account → Integrations with "monday.com connected (your account). Call results now go to your monday items." Finish within 15 minutes of clicking Connect, in the same SolarDialer account.
  3. Add a rule: who is calledUnder Your CRM, in the monday.com section's Items to call, pick Items: Any new item on <board>, or <board>: <status column> reaches <label>. Pick the Campaign they join and click Add rule. Add as many rules as you need.
  4. Choose where interested leads goUnder Interested leads go to, pick a board's status label. Interested leads' items on that board move to it, and leads that didn't come from monday.com get their items made on that board. Optionally pick a label of the same board under Transferred leads go to. Click Save. No board: no status moves and no new items.
  5. Test itSet an item with your own phone number to a rule's label (or add a new item, for Any new item). Within a minute or so it is a lead in that campaign in SolarDialer, and the campaign calls it on its schedule, within calling hours. After the call, the item has an update and the SD columns are filled in.

Settings, explained

Items: Any new item on <board>
Every item made on that board from the moment you add the rule joins the campaign.
Items: <board>: <status column> reaches <label>
Every item on that board whose status changes to that label, or that is made with it, from the moment you add the rule joins the campaign. Items already at that label are not called.
Campaign
The campaign the rule's items join. It calls them on its own schedule, within each lead's legal calling hours and attempt limits.
Remove
Next to each rule: stops it. Items it already added stay in the campaign.
Interested leads go to (this status, for items on its board; new items are made there)
The status label an interested lead's item moves to, when the item is on that board. It is also the board where items are found or made for leads that didn't come from monday.com. No board: neither happens.
Transferred leads go to (optional, same board)
Another label of the same status column for leads put through to your closer. The same stage: transferred leads go to the interested label.

What it reads and writes

Account
Reads your account's name and id, and who connected, to link it to your SolarDialer account.
Boards and columns
Reads up to 100 of your boards, most recently used first, and their Status columns and labels for the pickers. Subitem boards aren't offered.
Items (read)
For an item a rule picks: its name (the first word the first name, the rest the last name) and its first Phone, Email and Location columns that have a value. State and ZIP are taken from the location when it reads like "..., PA 17101"; otherwise a lead with no state gets it from its area code.
Items (written)
For a call that reached someone, an interested lead or a callback whose lead didn't come from monday.com, SolarDialer finds an item on the board you picked under Interested leads go to (by phone, then email) or makes one there, named after the lead, with its email and its phone (North American numbers). Calls nobody answered never create items.
SD columns
Six text columns, made on a board the first time a result goes there (one already there with the same title is used): SD Outcome (Talked, Transferred, No answer and so on), SD Last Call (date and time, UTC), SD Recording (a link), SD Interested (Yes), SD Callback (when they asked) and SD Do Not Call (Yes). Use them in your views, filters and automations.
Status
An interested lead's item moves to the label you picked (a transferred one to the transfer label, if you picked one), when the item is on that board.
Updates
Each call adds an update to the item with its outcome, length, campaign and time, the AI summary, the answers, any objections, the transcript, a link to the recording and a link to the call in SolarDialer. Each callback booked adds an update with when they asked and who calls back.
Webhooks
On each board with a rule, one webhook for new items and one for each status column a rule watches. They are made and deleted as your rules change, and deleted when you disconnect.

Troubleshooting

"monday.com didn't accept our webhook. Try again in a minute."

The rule was saved, but monday.com doesn't tell SolarDialer about its items yet. Wait a minute, then remove the rule and add it again: every change to your rules makes the missing webhooks.

"Your monday.com account has no boards yet; make one there, then reload to add a rule."

Make a board in monday.com, then reload Account → Integrations.

"Your monday.com boards couldn't be read just now; reload to add a rule."

monday.com didn't answer when the page loaded. Reload the page.

"Your CRM's boards couldn't be read just now; reload to choose where interested leads go."

This also shows when none of your boards has a Status column with named labels. Add a Status column to the board, name its labels, and reload.

"That board or status wasn't found in monday.com. Reload and pick again."

The board, column or label changed since the page loaded. Reload and pick it again.

"Pick both stages from the same pipeline."

The interested and transferred labels must be in the same status column of one board.

"That monday.com link has expired. Connect again from here."

More than 15 minutes passed between clicking Connect monday.com and allowing access. Click Connect monday.com again.

"monday.com couldn't be connected: that monday.com account is connected to another SolarDialer account"

A monday.com account links to one SolarDialer account. Disconnect it in the other account first, or connect from that account.

An item reached the label but wasn't called

Check that its phone is in a Phone column (a phone typed in a text column isn't read), that the rule's campaign is running and that it is within the lead's calling hours. Items already called through SolarDialer aren't added again, and people on your do-not-call list or who asked not to be called are never called.

The SD columns weren't added to a board

They are made with the rights of the monday.com user who connected. A viewer, or a board only its owners can change, can't get new columns. Connect with a user who can edit the board before your first calls.

The monday.com section shows Disconnected

"SolarDialer was uninstalled in monday.com. Connect again." or "SolarDialer was removed from your monday.com account. Connect again." means the app was uninstalled or its access ended there. Click Connect monday.com to connect again; your rules come back.

"Last problem sending results: ..." under monday.com

monday.com refused or didn't answer one result. If it was busy or unreachable it is tried again shortly; anything else monday.com refuses for one call is skipped so the rest still go.

FAQ

Are items already at the label called?

No. A rule picks items that reach the label, or are made with it, after you add it. To call one already there, set it to another label and back.

Do calls to leads that didn't come from monday.com show up there?

Only when you picked a board under Interested leads go to: their items are found or made on that board. Without one, only items your rules brought in get results.

Does SolarDialer read my whole board?

No. It reads the items your rules pick, and searches the board you picked for interested leads by phone or email.

Are my past calls sent to monday.com?

No. A new connection sends the results of calls from then on.

What is SolarDialer allowed to do in monday.com?

Read your profile and account, read and write boards, add updates, and read and manage webhooks.

What if the page offers Zapier instead of Connect monday.com?

The direct connection isn't open on your account yet; until then, Zapier connects SolarDialer to monday.com.

What does it cost?

The connection is free. Calls are billed by the minute from your SolarDialer balance, with $2 of free calls every month.

Disconnect

  • Click Disconnect monday.com in the monday.com section of Account → Integrations. SolarDialer's webhooks are deleted and results stop going to monday.com at once.
  • monday.com's access can't be revoked from our side: to remove SolarDialer from monday.com too, uninstall it there (Administration → Apps).
  • Leads and calls already in SolarDialer stay in your account, and nothing is removed from monday.com. To have your SolarDialer data deleted, email info@solardialer.net.
