Call records from a workflow rule
A workflow rule's webhook adds the lead or contact to one of your campaigns, called on its schedule or right away, always within the record's legal calling hours.
Connect your Zoho CRM: the leads and contacts your workflow rules choose are called by SolarDialer's AI agent, interested ones are transferred live to your closer, and every call lands on the record with its summary, transcript and recording.
You need a SolarDialer account, and a Zoho CRM user who can set up workflow rules (Professional edition or higher for webhooks). Works with every Zoho data centre.
A workflow rule's webhook adds the lead or contact to one of your campaigns, called on its schedule or right away, always within the record's legal calling hours.
Each call is logged in Zoho's Calls: its type, start and length, and as its description the AI summary, answers, transcript and a link that plays the recording.
Pick a deal stage and each interested contact gets a deal there, moved to your transfer stage when it is put through to your closer. Callbacks become tasks, due the day the homeowner asked.
SD Outcome, SD Last Call, SD Recording, SD Interested, SD Callback and SD Do Not Call are set on leads and contacts, so your workflow rules, views and reports can act on them: convert every interested lead, alert a closer on every transfer.

General, module Leads. Under Header → Custom Parameters, add Authorization
with the value Bearer, a space and your API key (Account → API). Body: type Raw,
format JSON; paste the text below, with your campaign's name in place of My campaign.{"module": "Leads", "record_id": "${Leads.Lead Id}",
"first_name": "${Leads.First Name}", "last_name": "${Leads.Last Name}",
"phone": "${Leads.Phone}", "mobile": "${Leads.Mobile}", "email": "${Leads.Email}",
"street": "${Leads.Street}", "city": "${Leads.City}", "state": "${Leads.State}",
"zip": "${Leads.Zip Code}", "country": "${Leads.Country}",
"campaign": "My campaign"}
For contacts, make the webhook and rule on Contacts, and in the text write
"module": "Contacts", ${Contacts.Contact Id} and ${Contacts.…}
for each field (contacts' address fields are Mailing Street, Mailing City, Mailing State,
Mailing Zip, Mailing Country). Leads SolarDialer itself makes in Zoho never run your rules on
create, so a call's lead is never sent back to be called again.
| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
module | Leads or Contacts |
record_id | the record's ID (Lead Id or Contact Id) |
campaign | your SolarDialer campaign's name or number |
first_name, last_name, phone, mobile,
email | the record's fields of those names |
street, city, state, zip, country |
its address (the state decides the calling hours; without one, the ZIP or area code is used) |
when | optional: now to call at once (within calling hours), else on the campaign's schedule |
note | optional: anything the agent should know |
| Zoho CRM data | What SolarDialer does with it |
|---|---|
| Your organization | Reads its ID and name, to tell your Zoho CRM apart. |
| Leads and contacts | Takes the name, phone, email and address of each record your webhook sends, to call it. Finds (by phone or email) a contact or lead for a call that reached someone, or makes a lead, and sets the SolarDialer fields on it. |
| Fields | Makes the six SolarDialer fields on Leads and Contacts once, and reads your deals' pipelines and stages for the stage picker. |
| Calls and tasks | Logs each call on the record, and a task for each callback booked. |
| Deals | Makes or moves a deal for an interested contact, only if you picked a stage. |
Records are called only within each state's calling hours, never when they are on your do-not-call list or asked not to be called, and at most the attempts your campaign allows. Your Zoho CRM data is used only to place and report your calls; see our privacy policy and terms.
Click Disconnect Zoho CRM on Account → Integrations: SolarDialer's access is revoked in Zoho at once (you can also remove it in Zoho, under My Account → Connected Apps). Results stop going to Zoho; the leads and calls already in SolarDialer stay in your account until you delete them, and nothing is removed from Zoho. To have your SolarDialer data deleted, email info@solardialer.net.
Prefer Zapier? SolarDialer's Zapier app connects to Zoho CRM too.
22¢ a minute while on a call, or 14¢ with your own phone line. Calls nobody answers are free. The Zoho CRM integration itself costs nothing.
